The firm has provided extensive coverage of the USCIS’ EAD work permits throughout 2022; in particular, attorneys Jennifer Cory, Susan Waller Ramos, and Jeffrey B. Womble’s attorney authors explain trends in FCRA rulings across the federal circuit courts and examine how government agencies including the CFPB’s (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) and the FTC’s (Federal Trade Commission) provide guidance on FCRA enforcement. Topics range from CFPB Consent Orders, the FTC’s requests for commentary on proposed changes, the section of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES act) which amends the FCRA, and the thousands of cases filed annually against banks, credit reporting agencies, debt collectors, retailers, and other organizations.  Regular FCRA contributors from Womble Bond Dickinson include Nadia Adams, Nikku D. KhalifianSarah Meyer,  Nicole Su, and Jason D. Wyman.
