D&O Exposure Due to Policy Enforcement & Employee Safety Failures
Webinar, Hosted By Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP
Thursday, November 14, 2024 - 1:00 PM - Thursday, November 14, 2024 - 2:00 PM
New York Partner Jonathan Meer will present “D&O Exposure Due to Policy Enforcement & Employee Safety Failures,” a Wilson Elser Forum webinar, on November 14, 2024. Jonathan will address recent litigation filed against Directors & Officers in connection with employee safety claims and how some of the lessons learned from those matters will impact pending litigation. These litigations involve not only claims by employees against their employers over COVID-19 but also issues related to workplace violence, sexual harassment, disability accommodation and cannabis use. D&Os have the proverbial bullseye on them in terms of drafting, implementing and enforcing corporate policies – insurance underwriters should be aware of the risks they write and claims personnel should understand the potential exposures.
