William Kang is an Associate in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims, as well as preventive advice and counseling.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Kang was an associate in both the litigation and the employment law practice groups at a firm in Long Island, New York, where he handled wage claims and advised clients on various employment issues, including WARN Act compliance and workplace accommodation. Mr. Kang was also a commercial litigation and an intellectual property litigation associate at a firm in New York City.
While in law school, he served as an Article Editor of the Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul Martin Newby of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
