Weston Rockers is a shareholder in the Real Estate practice group, with extensive and sophisticated experience across many real estate transaction and product types throughout the United States, but focusing primarily on developer and lender/equity investor representation involving real property acquisitions and dispositions and debt and equity financing. He has over a decade of experience leading complex commercial real estate deals for clients, having closed over $7B worth of acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, stabilized and development debt and equity financings, and commercial leasing transactions. Weston’s wealth of experience working with REITs, developers, real estate and private equity funds, and high net worth individuals/family offices, allows him to understand the business perspectives of the clients he represents like few others, and through this can add value by having a comprehensive understanding of the entire process of real property acquisition, management, financing and development, not only from the legal perspective, but the business perspective as well.
Weston focuses his efforts primarily on multi-family, industrial, hospitality and mixed use projects, but also has significant depth of experience with standalone office, retail, healthcare and even agricultural product types. Weston has a national real estate practice having closed transactions in 20+ states, with an emphasis on the California and Texas markets. In addition to Weston’s extensive deal work, he has experience representing owners and property managers in connection with leasing and day-to-day management and operations of real property.
Weston has significant lender- and equity investor-side representation experience, having represented lenders in connection with acquisition, bridge, mezzanine and construction financing projects, with significant background in the EB-5 space.
