Tina Lam

Professional Biography

Tina earned her J.D. and M.B.A. in May 2012 from Samford University, where she served as an Associate Editor and later as an Articles Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She also served as Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, President of Women in Law, Associate Director of Cumberland’s Trial Advocacy Board, Lieutenant Governor of Alabama for Regional Affairs for the American Bar Association Student Division, and member of the Career Development Advisory Board. Tina also interned for the Honorable Elisabeth A. French of the Jefferson County Circuit Court.

After law school, Tina practiced with a firm in New York City but felt the calling to return to her home state of Alabama in 2014. Once back in Birmingham, Tina practiced general civil litigation, including class actions and financial services litigation, with a boutique Birmingham firm. She has successfully defended her clients in all levels of state and federal court.

Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, and watching SEC football and ACC basketball. Tina has a passion for learning languages and is currently trying to become trilingual.
