Stephen Chuk is an associate in the Antitrust Group. He represents companies in complex antitrust litigation and provides counseling on mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance. Stephen also counsels individuals and companies facing criminal and regulatory investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.
The antitrust matters on which Stephen advises involve alleged claims of monopolization, group boycott, bid rigging and price-fixing across a wide range of industries, including financial services, sports, agriculture, health care, media and aviation. In addition, he advises clients on consumer protection matters involving marketing practices, false advertising and privacy/data security.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Stephen was a law clerk to Judge C. Darnell Jones, II in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before that, he practiced at a boutique commercial litigation firm in New York.
Stephen is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. He is the co-author of the chapter, “Antitrust and Intellectual Law Issues for Pharmaceutical Companies” in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law: Regulation of Research, Development, and Marketing(ABA/BNA, 2d ed. 2015).
