Samantha Shear is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. She helps clients resolve employment-related disputes and provides day-to-day compliance advice regarding workplace issues.
Samantha focuses her practice on all aspects of management-side employment law, including litigation, counseling, and investigations. She has experience in cases brought under federal, state, and local employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She regularly offers wage and hour compliance advice and has represented employers in Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions and state law wage and hour class actions.
Samantha also provides daily employment advice to clients in the public and private sectors relating to wage and hour compliance and drafts employment agreements, employee handbooks, and noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements.
