Sabrina L. Brown is an Associate in the Cleveland, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Ms. Brown represents employers in a variety of labor and employment-related matters, including employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims; wage and hour disputes; and claims involving breaches of non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements.
While attending law school, Ms. Brown served as a managing editor for the Ohio State Law Journal and received the Donald S. Teller Memorial award for the student publication that most contributed to the journal for her Note on Equal Pay Act litigation. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in State Constitutional Law and the Ohio State Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Award for academic achievement in the study of labor, employment, and employment discrimination topics.
Ms. Brown served as a judicial extern for Judge Michael H. Watson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She also worked in the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office and assisted in defending federal government agencies against employment, medical malpractice, and other tort litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Brown worked in sports journalism. She has written for the Cincinnati Enquirer, The Huffington Post, and Yahoo! Sports and worked for Xavier University’s student newspaper as both Editor-in-Chief and Sports Editor. She also received the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists Award for Best College Sports Writing.
