Rachel N. Pauley

Professional Biography

Rachel Pauley is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group that counsels clients on issues concerning the protection of valuable intellectual property assets, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement as well as general litigation matters. She began at Foley as a summer associate. Prior to Foley, she worked for Motorola Solutions, Inc. including time spent in Supply Chain and Presale Engineering designing radio systems for non-government customers.  While at Motorola, Rachel attended part-time law school at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and worked full-time in Finance.  This included coordinating with the Legal department to ensure risks and liabilities were appropriately captured in pricing and enforcing the agreed upon project scope during implementation.  In her summers off from part-time school and in addition to other full-time work responsibilities, Rachel gained legal experience through part-time internships in Patent Prosecution drafting office actions and in Contracts shadowing the customer proposal and enforcement processes.
