Puja Gupta is an Associate in the Baltimore, Maryland, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Ms. Gupta focuses her practice on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counsel. Ms. Gupta has represented clients in a variety of employment-related litigation, including before administrative agencies, in state and federal courts, and on appeal.
She has successfully assisted clients in discretely resolving litigation concerning complaints of discrimination, retaliation, and related tort issues, as well as litigation concerning non-disclosure and non-compete contracts by way of settlement. Ms. Gupta’s previous litigation experience includes a broad range of civil trial work, from commercial and contract disputes to civil rights cases on behalf of individuals.
While attending law school, Ms. Gupta was a recipient of the William Donald Schaefer Scholarship and was awarded the William P. Cunningham Award for Service. She served as Symposium Articles Editor for the Journal of Business & Technology Law and as an Asper Fellow for former U.S. Magistrate Judge (current U.S. District Judge) Paul W. Grimm.
