U.S. Immigration
Peter handles inbound U.S. employment-based immigration matters, including:
- Preparing nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, H-3s, E-1s/E-2s/E-3s and O-1s, and advising employers on issues related to other nonimmigrant visa statuses, including B-1, F-1, J-1 and Conrad State Waivers for foreign physicians
- Managing permanent residence (green card) cases, including PERM applications, multinational manager immigrant visa petitions, outstanding researcher petitions, extraordinary ability applications, national interest waiver petitions, adjustment of status applications, advance parole applications, employment authorization applications and re-entry permit applications
- Collaborating with clients on high-profile and time-sensitive cases for C-suite executives
Corporate Counseling
Peter counsels senior management on issues such as:
- Prospects for congressional action on immigration legislation and the potential ramifications to U.S. employers
- Consequences for companies and their foreign national employees involved in corporate transactions and reorganizations
- Developing immigration-related policies and procedures that outline company commitments and expectations for foreign national employees

Peter oversees technology initiatives and ongoing process improvement efforts for the IGM team, including:
- Implementing best practices for FaegreBD’s state of the art web-based immigration case management system
- Adopting Lean Six Sigma advances
