Reiko is a litigation associate in the Washington, DC office, with over five years of practical experience. Reiko handles a range of complex litigation matters, including class actions, consumer protection, data breaches and other commercial litigation. She also litigates constitutional and Title IX issues on behalf of public schools. Reiko began her legal career as a judicial law clerk in federal district court.
Reiko represents and counsels a wide array of clients in various civil matters involving consumer protection and deceptive trade practices, mass tort, data breaches, labeling and advertising, and constitutional and statutory issues affecting public schools. Prior to joining the firm, Reiko served as a judicial law clerk in the US District Court for the District of Maryland. Reiko has a broad range of experiences in litigation, including prepping and taking depositions, drafting dispositive motions and oppositions and managing discovery.
Reiko also maintains an active pro bono practice, and has previously represented indigent criminal defendants at trial, prisoners seeking post-conviction relief, inmates bringing civil rights claims against prisons and low-income personal injury victims. Reiko advocates for diversity and inclusion efforts for women and people of color in the legal field and beyond.
Reiko is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the US District Court for the District of Maryland and the Fourth Circuit.
