Paola Furiosi advises domestic and international clients on the protection of intellectual property rights in both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has multidisciplinary experience in transactional matters, including the negotiation and drafting of contracts for the acquisition, licensing, distribution, and exploitation of intellectual property rights and proprietary technologies; sponsorship, franchising, co-branding, and merchandising agreements; joint-venture agreements; and agreements for the outsourcing and supply of IT services.
Paola also advises clients in complex court proceedings regarding the invalidity and counterfeiting of patents, trademarks, copyright, and design, as well as unfair competition.
Her practice also includes commercial transactions involving intellectual property rights in the context of corporate deals. Paola’s clients include companies in the fields of life science, fashion, food, design, large-scale distribution, and pharmaceuticals, as well as top technology companies.
