Michael J. Slattery concentrates his practice on government contracts litigation and counseling. Michael represents domestic and international companies from a wide variety of industries that contract, or seek to contract, with federal, state, and local governments.
Bid Protest Litigation
Michael has litigated scores of bid protests at the United States Government Accountability Office, the United States Court of Federal Claims, executive agencies, and state and local fora. He regularly litigates protests involving contracts worth more than $100 million, and has litigated several protests where the underlying contract was worth over one billion dollars.
Claims and Related Litigation
Michael has successfully litigated claims at Boards of Contract Appeals and arbitration panels. He has also litigated matters concerning intellectual property rights arising from government contracts, the propriety of past performance evaluations, as well as false claims act and takings cases.
Counseling
Michael possesses broad experience in counseling clients on government contracting issues, and has counseled government contractors on all subjects covered by the Federal Acquisition Regulation. He has aided clients in the drafting of:
