Michael J. O’Brien is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the corporate compliance and white collar defense team.
Michael’s practice involves antitrust class actions, white collar criminal defense, False Claims Act litigation, internal and government investigations, and appellate litigation, as well as commercial, health care, and securities litigation.
Michael was the valedictorian of his graduating class at the University of Notre Dame. He was included on the dean’s list every semester, and was a Rhodes Scholarship finalist, the recipient of the McCullough Scholarship in Government, and editor-in-chief of Beyond Politics: Undergraduate Journal of Politics.
Michael attended The University of Chicago Law School, and served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Philip P. Simon of the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He was the recipient of the David M. Rubenstein full-tuition merit scholarship and served as comments editor of The University of Chicago Law Review.
