Professional Biography

Megan utilizes her knowledge of California environmental law and her land use and natural resources background to meet clients' regulatory and litigation needs.

Megan (pronounced Meeegan) has advised public and private entities on complex natural resources and project development issues, including long-term development plans, renewable energy projects, and onshore aquaculture facilities. Her work includes drafting pleadings as well as agency and client communications, and writing memoranda on various developing environmental issues, including those related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Megan previously worked as a land use and energy associate representing public and private entities throughout California.

While completing her J.D. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (UC Law SF, formerly UC Hastings), Megan was an Articles Editor and Diversity Committee member of the UC Law Journal. At UC Law SF, Megan also participated in the Environmental Law Clinic and served as a Teaching Assistant and Sack Teaching Fellow. She began her legal career as a paralegal focused on lobbying and campaign finance compliance.
