Lesley’s practice focuses on health care law, with an emphasis on representing and counseling health care providers and companies. Her clients include home health care agencies, non-medical home service agencies, physicians, podiatrists, and medical spa start-ups, addressing issues ranging from federal and state-level health care compliance, corporate formation and compliance, share and interest purchase transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, employment issues, and litigation/government payor audits on administrative, state, and federal levels. She knows first-hand the challenges of operating a health care-related company as a former general counsel and shareholder of an Illinois non-medical home services agency.
Lesley also has extended her practice to include probate and probate litigation for her clients, using her healthcare experience as a lens to analyze medical records involved in those cases.
She also enjoys giving presentations on topics in healthcare compliance and the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare businesses.
