Leandra assists clients subject to environmental laws and regulations navigate regulatory issues and litigation. Her practice focuses on complex litigation, class actions, mass torts and regulatory work involving emerging contaminants.
Before joining Beveridge & Diamond, Leandra served as an Assistant Attorney General where she defended state agencies in personal injury, property damage, wrongful termination lawsuits, and worker’s compensation contested cases. Prior to that, Leandra worked in real estate litigation, insurance defense, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
In her prior roles, Leandra gained experience reviewing transactional agreements and first chaired disputes from inception through trial, including: arbitration and mediation experience, arguing dispositive motions in court, advising clients on regulatory issues, conducting depositions, preparing expert witnesses, drafting pleadings and motions, reviewing discovery, evaluating potential claims, and drafting briefs for Texas appeal.
