Laura Burlot is an associate and business law attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP, based in the firm’s Boston office, where she is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice. She began her career with Foley as a summer associate in 2019.

While in law school, Laura served as a judicial intern for The Honorable F. Dennis Saylor, IV in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She assisted in researching and drafting decisions on a variety of legal topics including social security benefits and breach of contract questions. Laura also worked as a student attorney in the Juvenile Rights Advocacy Clinic for the Boston College Legal Services Lab.

Prior to law school, Laura worked at the Lycée Français de Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, where she was an assistant to the secondary school director and administrative coordinator. Laura also worked as an administrative assistant to a portfolio manager at Northwestern Mutual in Chicago, Illinois and as a translator for ONET Sécurité in Marseille, France, where she translated bids and contracts from French to English.
