Dr. Khailee Marischuk works with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies in obtaining, defending, and enforcing intellectual property rights. Her experience covers a wide range of technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, RNA processing and expression, and genetic sequencing and expression analysis.
During her time at the George Washington University Law School, Khailee served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Evan J. Wallach of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also was an intern for the Transportation Security Administration, where she drafted patent applications for digital identity methodologies and analyzed government agreements for intellectual property concerns, including data rights and trademark licensing. Khailee and her team won first place in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s 2023 National Patent Application Drafting Competition.
