Janis E. Clements represents clients, including Fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, and retailers, in commercial litigation, class action litigation, antitrust, and complex business litigation. Janis is also an eDiscovery attorney with the firm’s interdisciplinary eDiscovery & eRetention team of lawyers, and uses artificial intelligence on a regular basis to streamline eDiscovery and with litigation matters. She manages large eDiscovery projects for clients in litigation, including antitrust, labor & employment, breach of contract, and bankruptcy, as well as SEC investigations. Janis is also a registered patent attorney.
She is an experienced litigator with more than 20 years of experience trying cases across the State of Texas. As a native of East Texas, Janis is an active participant in local professional and legal organizations, such as the Judge Paul Brown Inn of Court, Eastern District of Texas Bench Bar Planning Committee, and Grayson County Bar Association. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Women Lawyers of Eastern District of Texas (WLED), a graduate of the Grayson County Sherriff’s Citizen’s Police Academy, and a member of the Sherman Chamber of Commerce.
