Attorney James Reilly helps clients in the health care industry stay compliant with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
James also assists clients in designing and implementing corporate compliance policies. In addition, clients seek his guidance on issues relating to health care fraud and abuse, privacy (HIPAA and CMIA), corporate practice of medicine, consent, reimbursement and billing, Medicare and Medi-Cal compliance and payments, and licensing.
While in law school, James interned at a nonprofit providing eviction defense and emergency rental assistance in San Francisco, where he prepared legal documents on behalf of clients so they could properly respond to lawsuits. He also worked in the UC Hastings Legal Clinic, participating in administrative hearings and conducting extensive medical record reviews so that clients could get Social Security disability benefits.
Before joining Epstein Becker Green, James was a health care attorney at a national law firm.
