Jaimy “Sindy” Alarcon is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Licensing Specialist.
Sindy works in conjunction with the attorneys in the Telecommunications Practice to prepare FCC applications for clients seeking authority for new services, modifications, administrative updates, license cancellations, Requests for Special Temporary Authority (STA), Requests for Rule Waivers, Assignments of Authorization, Transfers of Control, Renewals, and Notifications of Construction for various radio services including microwave, land mobile, marine, and aircraft licenses. She also assists in obtaining tower and antenna structure registrations with the FCC, and obstruction evaluation and aeronautical studies with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Sindy maintains the firms internal FCC Database which allows for the tracking applications from the initial client request to the final action taken by the FCC or FAA. In addition, she provides comprehensive monitoring of active FCC licenses and timely alerts for critical deadlines and expirations.
Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, Sindy was an Office Manager at another firm, where she managed the firm’s compliance with registration and recordkeeping, as well as the firm’s billings, benefits, insurance, and taxes.
