Mr. Gitig has experience handling employment law matters in state and federal court, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge claims, including nation-wide class and collective actions.
While in law school, Mr. Gitig participated in the Mediation and Labor & Employment Law Clinics, and was a finalist in the 2007 ABA Regional Negotiation Competition. He was a Dean's Scholarship recipient. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Gitig spent over six years representing plaintiffs in federal and state court employment litigation, with a particular focus on wage and hour class and collective actions and discrimination claims.
