Emerson’s practice focuses on commercial, trusts and estates, and entertainment litigation

Emerson’s trusts and estates practice includes representing clients in trust and will contests, breach of fiduciary duty cases, conservatorships, and accounting disputes. He also has general commercial litigation experience, including litigating breach of contract, intellectual property, trade secrets, and real estate disputes.

Emerson’s entertainment litigation practice includes the representation of studios, producers, and managers in connection with various types of claims, including those relating to motion picture distribution rights, content licensing, participation accounting issues, residual allocation claims, and breach of contract claims. He has represented clients in both state court and before the Independent Film & Television Alliance (“IFTA”) arbitration tribunal.

Emerson also has experience litigating intellectual property, trade secrets, and real estate disputes.
