Edward A. Berman is Of Counsel and a member of Stark & Stark’s Community Associations and Business & Corporate Groups. He has counseled and represented numerous associations in connection with the collection of maintenance fees and fines, foreclosures, enforcement issues and general matters.
Mr. Berman also practices in the areas of business law, commercial litigation and appellate law. He has represented many substantial public and privately held corporations and other businesses in connection with stock and asset sales and purchases, acquisition financing, and provides general counsel to numerous business clients. Additionally, Mr. Berman has represented clients in substantial business litigations ranging from unfair competition matters to unjust dismissal actions, and from fraud and misrepresentation claims in connection with business sales to contract claims arising out of the sale of commercial and other real estate. He has been involved in litigation throughout the NJ courts, including numerous appellate matters before the NJ Appellate Division and the NJ Supreme Court.
