Ebadullah (Ebad) Khan focuses his practice on delivering practical legal recommendations to clients to help them solve health care related matters, maintain compliance with state and federal laws, and address reimbursement issues with commercial health insurance companies. Ebad works with Polsinelli attorneys to ensure hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, free-standing ERs, and other health care organizations comply with applicable regulations such as HIPAA/HITECH, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Texas Patient Solicitation Act. Ebad also works with health care organizations to better their collection practices to maximize returns with commercial payers.
Ebad has previous experience serving as General Counsel for a hospital, the Associate General Counsel and Director of Health Care Compliance at a health care system, has represented physicians, hospitals, free-standing ERs, and other health care organizations in various matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating partnership, physician, and third-party service and vendor agreements

- Providing guidance on health care compliance and regulatory matters
- Formation and restructuring of corporate entity and governance structures
