As an attorney in Wiggin and Dana’s Litigation Department, David represents a range of clients including franchisors, product manufacturers, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and individuals in litigation and arbitration.
David has helped clients solve a variety of legal and regulatory challenges, including: claims under the Connecticut Product Liability Act and the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act, compliance with product liability laws, defense of drug and medical device claims, breach of contract claims, complex commercial litigation, and enforcement of arbitration agreements. David also focuses on franchise disputes, including defending one of the world’s leading franchisors against claims brought by current and former franchisees and business development agents.
Before joining Wiggin and Dana, David served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey Alker Meyer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
David received his J.D. summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was the president of the Student Bar Association and the lead articles editor for the Quinnipiac Law Review. He earned his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Wagner College.
A member of the firm’s Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee, David is committed to supporting diverse community building and professional development activities and to fostering a culture of inclusivity. Additionally, David is dedicated to the New Haven community. Among other things, he serves on the board of the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen and has served as a volunteer judge for Project Youth Court.
