Courtney advises and represents clients in labor and employment law matters, including federal and state litigation, labor and employment disputes, and administrative matters before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration, and other local and state human relations agencies. Courtney regularly conducts independent workplace investigations related to harassment and discrimination complaints and concerns at client sites. Courtney also counsels employers on various workplace issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, leaves of absence, accommodation requests, performance issues, wage and hour compliance, pay equity concerns, employee privacy, diversity and inclusion efforts, and litigation avoidance.
