Ms. Villanueva is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Her IP practice focuses on trademark clearance and enforcement. She assists clients in trademark and copyright litigation by writing complaints, motions and briefs, and manages clients' global trademark portfolios. Ms. Villanueva has also worked on opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Ms. Villanueva's litigation practice focuses on a broad range of contract-related matters with an emphasis on all aspects of construction litigation. Additionally she has drafted a variety of pleadings and motions, including initial disclosure statements and responding to discovery requests, as well as proposed final judgments, settlement agreements and defended depositions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Villanueva was an extern for the Honorable Judge Philip S. Gutierrez.
