Christina Lucchesi is an entertainment and art law attorney and possesses the critical niche expertise across artistic disciplines required to provide representation that is both professional and personalized. Her practice has spanned the spectrum of music, film, visual arts, social media and dance encompassing contract negotiation, copyright, publishing and licensing rights.
Christina has over twelve years of experience as a music agent representing musicians and bands in the U.S. and Canada as well as music venues, major festivals and concerts through all stages of deal-making and event production including financial planning, technical organization, stage management and creative execution. As a musician, songwriter and artist, Christina has also worked in a creative capacity with many of the people who make up our vibrant and growing creative community.
Her most recent composition, “Rain Song,” was selected for inclusion in the Cities and Memory highlights album for 2023, Sounds of the Year. Christina created her piece as part of the Autumn Project and is one of fourteen artists whose work is featured on this newly-released album. Sounds of the Year will be archived by the British Library. Cities and Memory is a global, collaborative sound art initiative in which field recordings are recomposed and reimagined by musical artists from around the world. Its mission is to connect the world through sound.
As a member of the Government Finance Section, Christina serves as issuer's counsel in connection with the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable revenue bonds in conduit isser transactions for nonprofit institutions including hospitals, colleges, charter schools and retirement communities. She has also served as issuer's counsel for asset transactions involving medical centers, sports and highway projects and the Fargo-Moorhead River Flood Diversion project, the "Bond Buyer Deal of the Year" for 2022.
Christina’s practice also includes real estate law with a focus on AIA contract negotiation and drafting as well as commercial leases.
Christina is a Board Member of Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI). She previously served as Executive Director of the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra and was a former board member of Ballet Wisconsin.
Christina is an active volunteer with the Wisconsin Mock Trial Tournament, Milwaukee Street Law Program and Sojourner’s VALT Program.
