Chip Gray is a member of the Corporate Group and focuses his practice on finance and taxation.
Mr. Gray has experience with the legal process, from drafting complaints, briefs, memoranda, and motions, to working directly with the lead counsel for tax in significant government committee matters. He has conducted research pertaining to corporate, probate, municipal, and real property law. Prior to practicing law, he developed a working history in the wealth management industry, with years of experience assisting high net worth clients in all manners of financial planning, including wealth management, estate planning, life insurance, and asset protection strategies. He was also a Special Forces Officer (Green Beret) in the US Army and attained the rank of Major. During his time in the Special Forces, he served as the Future-Plans Officer (J-5) for Special Operations Detachment-Central, where he was responsible for long range planning in support of Special Operation Command Central directives and operational initiatives in the Middle East. Mr. Gray also commanded a 12-man Operational Detachment Alpha Team and was responsible for planning, leading, and executing operations on the tactical and strategic level. During his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and also earned the Combat Infantryman Badge, Parachutist Badge, Ranger Tab, and Special Forces Tab.
