Benjamin Rubin is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Credit Group.
Ben focuses his practice on complex corporate finance transactions and represents an array of private credit providers, including private debt funds, BDCs, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, technology-focused funds and private equity investors in connection with growth investments, acquisition financings, going-private transactions, joint venture programs and recurring revenue-based facilities, as well as other finance-related transactions, including innovative, first-in-kind transactions across the U.S. and Europe. Benjamin has extensive experience in intercreditor and interlender issues, secured creditor and bankruptcy rights, debt restructurings and private equity investments.
Ben has industry experience in a wide range of business sectors including healthcare, software and technology (including SaaS and subscription-based services), industrial and manufacturing, transportation, retail and financial services.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Ben was a senior transactional finance associate at Bingham McCutchen, LLP where he represented various agents, lenders, creditors’ committees and corporate borrowers in a wide variety of secured and unsecured financings, bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Ben is also an active supporter of the Young Jewish Professional organization where he has moderated panels for industry finance associates/analysts.
