Barry E. Reiferson

Professional Biography

Barry Reiferson advises individual, corporate, and sovereign clients on a broad range of civil and criminal issues. Barry’s clients benefit from his extensive experience as an attorney in both private and government practice.

Before joining Squire Patton Boggs, Barry was a trial attorney with the US Department of Justice (DOJ), which he joined through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. Before leaving the DOJ in 2009, Barry was recognized for litigating some of the Department’s most complex and high-profile cases, winning several awards and commendations. Since joining the firm, Barry has focused on issues of concern to corporate directors and officers, businesses and sovereigns involved in litigation or regulatory actions in the US. Barry's experience provides him with unique strategic insight into matters of interest to sovereigns and into the life cycle of government inquiries, investigations, regulatory actions and litigation.
