Drew Wellin is an associate in the Litigation Department. Drew’s practice focuses on antitrust counseling and litigation, insurance coverage litigation and appeals.
Drew’s appellate successes include representation of the City of New York before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in two cases: Selinger v. City of New York and Crawford v. City of New York. In each case, Drew drafted the winning briefs and successfully argued the cases before the Circuit panel. Prior to joining Proskauer, the Firm sponsored Drew as a volunteer attorney at the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York where he held the title of Special Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Appeals Division. While practicing in the Appeals Division, Drew appeared in dozens of appellate matters and successfully briefed and argued cases for municipal clients in the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
