Allison McSorley Tassel focuses her practice on privacy and cybersecurity matters. She provides compliance and advisory guidance to clients in a wide range of industries and markets on the evolving privacy legal landscape.
Allison’s experience includes advising clients on US federal and state and international privacy laws, marketing laws like the CAN-SPAM Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and other data security and privacy laws and regulations, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and US state data breach notification laws.
While in law school, Allison served as an editor for Boston University Law Review.
