Alisha Bruce is a law clerk in Proskauer's Labor Department and a member of the Employment Litigation & Arbitration Group.
During her time at Proskauer, Alisha has focused on a wide range of employment matters, including employment discrimination litigation, class and collective actions, and policies, handbooks and training, among others. Alisha has gained experience across a wide variety of industries including financial services, telecommunications, and educational institutions. Alisha is also committed to her pro bono practice – passionately representing clients in immigration and child custody matters. She has also helped clients with pro bono employment counseling.
Alisha earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as the Submissions Manager and Communications Chair for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender. During law school, Alisha worked as a student attorney for the Criminal Justice Institute representing indigent defendants in criminal proceedings. In addition, Alisha served as Secretary of the Black Law Student’s Association.
Prior to law school, Alisha attended Howard University where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in History.
