U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has recently sent in error duplicate Application Support Center (ASC) appointment notices to individuals seeking to complete their biometrics.
The duplicate ASC appointment notices have been issued by the Texas Service Center (TSC) during the last few months. The TSC has advised that for those who do receive duplicate ASC appointment notices, the individual should attend just one appointment, but to take both ASC notices to the appointment.
In instances in which the individual has attended the ASC appointment but subsequently receives a duplicate notice, the individual does not need to attend the second appointment but may choose to respond to the second notice in writing informing USCIS that biometrics were already taken and to include a copy of the stamped earlier notice. The TSC is aware of this issue and is in the process of correcting the problem.
