Looking ahead: The Vice President will travel to Tokyo, Japan, and Seoul, Republic of Korea, from September 25-29.  The Vice President will lead the U.S. delegation to the State Funeral of former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo of Japan.  In Tokyo and Seoul, the Vice President will meet with senior government officials and civil society representatives to reinforce the United States’ alliances with Japan and the Republic of Korea.
