The use of technology in the courtroom can greatly enhance both the clarity of a presentation and the interest of the jurors. If you run into technical difficulties, however, a judge is unlikely to recess the jury while you figure out why your computer or the audio-visual equipment is not working properly. Regardless, the flow of your presentation runs the risk of abruptly ending. Therefore, prepare handouts or some other backup.
