Yesterday, Toyota announced a recall involving approximately 2.5 million vehicles relating to the drivers side Power Window Master Switch involving 12 Toyota/Scion models.  If commercially available lubricants are applied to the switch to remedy a sticky feel during operation, the switch assembly could melt or smoke and lead, under some circumstances, to a fire.
