November 21, 2019

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. at the Jackson offices of the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins and Commissioners Jerry Griffith and Tom Gresham were in attendance. The following matters were considered:

LICENSING

The Commission approved the issuance of licenses to the following:

  • Majestic Mississippi, LLC d/b/a Fitz Casino & Hotel Tunica as an Operator

  • Treasure Bay LLC d/b/a Treasure Bay Casino as an Operator and a Distributor

FINDINGS OF SUITABILITY

The Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons:

  • Michael Edward Cawley, Chairman of the Audit Committee of Flutter Entertainment, plc

  • Edwin Miles Kilburn, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Everi Holdings Inc.

  • Barron Bradley Fuller, Sr. Vice President of Operations, Rainbow Casino-Vicksburg Partnership, L.P./IOC-Lula, Inc./IOC Manufacturing, Inc./Lighthouse Point, LLC

  • Treasure Bay Gaming & Resorts, Inc. – Treasure Bay LLC d/b/a Treasure Bay Casino

    • Request for Approval for Transfer of Equity Interests or Securities

  • End of Other Approvals

WORK PERMITS

The Commission approved the recommendation of the Executive Director to accept the hearing officer’s findings and decisions with respect to the following:

  • Morike Haynes

  • Don Victor Morgan

The Commission granted the Unanimous Approval for the issuance of the work permit application of Tunder L. Davis.

PROPOSED RULE ADOPTION

Notice of Proposed Rule Adoption – Public Notice – 13 Mississippi Administrative Code Pt. 3, R. 12.16. The Commission approved the recommendation to accept public comment for 25 days.
