National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) No Longer Seeking to Impose Notice Posting Rule on Employers

National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) No Longer Seeking to Impose Notice Posting Rule on Employers
Thursday, January 9, 2014

The National Labor Relations Board has given up on its quest to require all employers to post a notice in the workplace informing workers of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act. The Board has decided against seeking Supreme Court review of two circuit court of appeal decisions invalidating this rule, which it first tried to impose on employers back in 2011. Obviously, this is welcome news for employers (including employers operating in traditionally union-free workplaces).
