To gather information on issues and options relevant to miners’ escape and refuge in underground coal mines, on October 19, 2015, MSHA will hold a public meeting at the National Mine Health Safety Academy in Beaver, West Virginia on October 19, 2015, beginning with Registration at 1:00 p.m. and concluding when the last speaker has spoken.

The notice announcing the meeting will be available for viewing on September 17 at 8:45 a.m. at the Office of the Federal Register, Public Inspection Desk.  MSHA will accept written responses, data, and information for the record from any interested party, including those not participating in the public meeting through November 16, 2015.
