November 17 Meeting

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at the Jackson office. Executive Director Jay McDaniel, Commissioners Tom Gresham and Franc Lee were in attendance; Chairman Al Hopkins participated by phone. The following matters were considered:

LICENSING

The Commission approved the issuance of licenses to the following:

• Majestic Mississippi, LLC d/b/a Fitz Casino & Hotel Tunica, as an Operator 

• Penn Sports Interactive, LLC, as a Manufacturer and Distributor

• Treasure Bay L.L.C. d/b/a Treasure Bay Casino, as an Operator 

• Treasure Bay L.L.C. d/b/a Treasure Bay Casino, as a Distributor   

FINDINGS OF SUITABILITY

The Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons or entities:

• Michael Patrick Shaunnessy – Silver Slipper Casino Venture LLC d/b/a Silver Slipper Casino 

• Tristan Sjoberg – TCS John Huxley America, Inc.  

• Brian Rodger Mattingley – PT Mississippi Services Delaware LLC

The Commission declined to review the Hearing Examiner’s Decision rendered on October 6, 2022, regarding a player dispute in Dimple Kennedy vs. HWCC-Tunica, Inc. d/b/a Hollywood Casino Tunica – MGC No. 22-00223 (ND).
