Mississippi Gaming Commission Meeting Minutes: September 28, 2017

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. in the Jackson office of the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins, and Commissioners Jerry Griffith and Tom Gresham were in attendance. The following matters were considered:

LICENSING

The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved a license for the following:

  • Licensure as an Operator - Boyd Biloxi, LLC d/b/a IP Casino Resort Spa

FINDINGS OF SUITABILITY

The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons:

  • Ralph J. Nicoletti, Chief Financial Officer of Newell Brands Inc. (The United States Playing Card Company)

  • Bradford R. Turner, Chief Legal & Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary of Newell Brands Inc. (The United States Playing Card Company)

  • Neil E. Walkoff, Executive Vice President of Operations of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. (PNK Vicksburg, LLC d/b/a Ameristar Casino Vicksburg)

  • Johan P. Finley, Chief Executive Officer of  PDS Gaming LLC (PDS Gaming—Mississippi, LLC; PDS Special Purpose I—Mississippi, LLC; PDS Special Purpose II—Mississippi, LLC; PDS Special Purpose III—Mississippi, LLC)

  • Lona Mae Finley, Executive Vice President of PDS Gaming LLC

  • Peter D. Cleary, President of  PDS Gaming LLC

  • Michael D. Galle, General Manager, BSLO, LLC d/b/a Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and BTN, LLC d/b/a Boomtown Casino Biloxi

  • Karl O. Stingily, Sr. Vice President and Chief Audit Executive of Caesars Entertainment (Grand Casinos of Biloxi, LLC d/b/a Harrah's Gulf Coast; Robinson Property Group Corp. d/b/a Horseshoe Casino and Hotel; Tunica Roadhouse Corporation d/b/a Tunica Roadhouse Casino & Hotel, and Casino Computer Programming, Inc.)

OTHER APPROVALS

Transfers of Equity Interests or Securities of Majestic Holdco, LLC — Majestic Mississippi, LLC d/b/a Fitz Casino and Hotel

WORK PERMITS

The Commission approved the recommendation of the Executive Director to accept the hearing officer’s decision to revoke work permits for the following:

  • Chung Thanh Nguyen

  • Elvin Antonio Frye
