Here are the most recent health care related regulatory developments as published in the New Jersey Register on March 19, 2018:

  • On March 19, 2018 at 50 NJR 1025, the Department of Corrections published notice of its proposal of amendments to its rules governing medical parole. The proposed amendments expand the eligibility of inmates for medical parole to include inmates who have a permanent physical incapacity that renders the inmate permanently unable to perform the activities of basic daily living, which results in the need for 24 hour care, and did not exist at that time of sentencing.

  • On March 19, 2018 at 50 NJR 1036, the Department of Health published notice of its readoption of its rules regarding the Worker and Community Right to Know Act.
