Former Govs. Give Financial Support to Calif. Ballot Measures

Sept. 25, 2012—Former California Governor Gray Davis has contributed $2,000 to back current Governor Jerry Brown's tax plan, Prop. 30. Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo has contributed $1,000 to support Prop. 34, a measure to repeal the death penalty.

Committees formed to support or oppose California's eleven ballot measures have reported raising over $46 million in the month of September so far. The top five highest-raising committees, from Sept. 1, 2012 to Sept. 23, 2012, are listed below.
