The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. in the Jackson office of the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins and Commissioners Jerry Griffith and Tom Gresham were in attendance. The following matters were considered:
LICENSING
The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved the following licenses and permits:
- Lightning Slot Machines, LLC as a Manufacturer and Distributor
FINDINGS OF SUITABILITY
The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons:
- Bradley K. Blackwell, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Churchill Downs Incorporated
- Amanda M. Hansen, Director of Casino Operations, Grand Casinos of Biloxi, LLC d/b/a Harrah’s Gulf Coast
- James R. Abrahamson, Chairman of the Board of VICI Properties Inc.
- Kevin M. Sheehan, Chief Executive Officer and President of Scientific Games Corporation
- William S. Boyd, Executive Chairman of Boyd Gaming Corporation
- Richard H. Bell, Company Secretary Aristocrat Leisure Limited

OTHER APPROVALS
- Majestic Mississippi, LLC d/b/a Fitz Casino and Hotel received approval of the transfer of equity interests of Majestic Holdco, LLC.
- Aruze Gaming America, Inc. received approval for the transfer of its equity securities to a trust.
- Lighthouse Point, LLC d/b/a Trop Casino Greenville received approval for the registration of American Entertainment Properties Corp. as a holding company and Icahn Building LLC as a holding company.
