SA&M client CarbonBuilt announced a collaboration with Meta to accelerate adoption of CarbonBuilt’s technology, known as Reversa, and significantly reduce emissions in the concrete industry. CarbonBuilt’s technology enables concrete manufacturers to significantly reduce their carbon footprint by up to 70% compared to industry standards. CarbonBuilt’s technology will be utilized in Meta’s extensive data center infrastructure, where it has committed to investing $37 billion in these facilities this year.

SA&M client MyoGene Bio received FDA Orphan Drug Designation and Rare Pediatric Disease designation for MyoDys45-55, their gene editing therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The therapy targets a progressive muscle-wasting disease affecting children and young adults, primarily males. With no current medical cures available, MyoDys45-55 is designed to correct gene mutations that cause half of all Duchenne cases.

SA&M client ViBo, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and Coimbra, Portugal, has entered into an agreement with Los Alamos National Laboratories to develop their DigiScan technology. This 10-second finger scanner aims to detect preventable diseases swiftly and accurately, enabling users to monitor their health status and receive actionable information.

The co-founder of client Concrete.AI, Mathieu Bauchya, was featured in Forbes “Scaling AI,” which highlights the company’s pioneering work in reducing carbon emissions and optimizing production costs for concrete producers. Concrete.AI aims to mitigate the annual global carbon footprint of concrete by approximately 500 million tons through the optimization of concrete mixes utilizing readily available materials.
